Privacy policy

Wild & Fired is run by Lo & Slo Group Ltd (company number NI711098), whose registered office is 12 Sicily Park, Derry BT47 5QP, Northern Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described here, which means we decide how it is used. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZB839203.

Questions about your data, or a request to use any of your rights: email hello@lo-slo.co.uk or write to us at the address above. This notice covers wildandfired.com, our email list, bookings, enquiries and events at Brook Hall Estate and elsewhere.

What we collect and why

We only collect what we need for each purpose below, and we never sell your data.

  • Emails about new events, tickets and news: your email address, first name if given, which form you signed up through, and whether you open or click our emails. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.

  • Bookings, classes, private dining and vouchers: your name, email, phone, number of guests, and booking and payment details. Card details are handled by our payment providers, not us. Lawful basis: contract, as we need these to deliver what you booked.

  • Allergies and dietary needs: the information you choose to tell us. Lawful basis: your explicit consent, given when you tell us. We use it only to cook safely for you.

  • Enquiries and quotes: your name, contact details and the event details you send us. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, so we can reply to you and prepare a quote.

  • Running the website: your IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. Lawful basis: legitimate interests for essential site functions; your consent for analytics and marketing cookies.

  • Accounts and tax: booking and payment records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

If you book with us, we may email you about similar events. You can opt out when you book or in any email.

Who we share it with

We share data only with services that help us run the business. Each acts on our instructions under a contract that protects your data.

  • Stripe processes card payments for vouchers and orders. Data is held in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States.

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) measures our adverts and shows them to people who have visited our site, only if you accept marketing cookies. Data is held in Ireland and the United States.

  • Our accountant keeps our accounts. Data is held in the United Kingdom.

Where data goes to the United States, it is protected by the UK-US data bridge or the UK’s standard contract clauses. We may also share data if the law requires it, for example with HMRC.

How long we keep it

  • Email list: until you unsubscribe. If you haven’t opened an email from us in 2 years, we remove you.

  • Allergy and dietary information: until 3 months after your event.

  • Bookings and payment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year, as tax law requires.

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: 2 years.

After these periods we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that keep it working and, with your permission, cookies that measure visits and our adverts. Embedded YouTube videos, Mailchimp’s signup forms and the Meta Pixel (which measures our Facebook and Instagram adverts) may also set cookies. You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies in the banner when you first visit, and change your mind at any time using the Cookie Preferences link. Our cookie policy lists them in full.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you

  • correct anything that’s wrong

  • delete your data

  • stop or limit how we use it

  • send your data to you or another organisation in a usable format

  • stop sending you marketing, at any time, with no reason needed

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@lo-slo.co.uk. We’ll reply within one month, and it’s free.
