Fire Cookery School
A Hidden Fire Kitchen on the Edge of the Atlantic
Brook Hall Walled Garden has been growing food for six generations. We cook in it year-round, over hardwood and charcoal, never gas, and a few times per month we open the Garden gates to share all we know.
Our Fire Cookery School is an accredited hands-on experience for those who want to understand fire as a cooking tool, not a party trick. You'll leave knowing how to build and manage a fire, how heat, smoke and ember each do different things to food, and how to cook a full seasonal menu from first flame to long table.
Classes are designed so guests get time to genuinely learn and get lots of hands-on cooking with Emily and Norm.

Community
“… I’ve spent a lot of time around food, drink and production, but days like this remind you why it all matters in the first place. The setting is naturally stunning, the kind of place that forces you to slow down, switch off and just be present.”
