An urban base for wild country

We're rare in Irish tourism — the only city offering direct access to two of Ireland's great coastal routes. To the west: Donegal, Inishowen, and the rugged Wild Atlantic Way. To the east: the Antrim coast and the Causeway Coastal Route, taking in the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, and Royal Portrush.

Inland: the Sperrin Mountains, an area of outstanding natural beauty, half an hour to the south. The City itself is one of Europe's finest fully walled cities — a vibrant, historic counterpoint to the wild country that surrounds it.

Wild & Fired sits in this meeting place. Our residency at Brook Hall puts us inside a six-generation estate on the river Foyle, fifteen minutes from City of Derry Airport, less than an hour from the Causeway and the Wild Atlantic Way.

Wild & Fired at Brook Hall sits along the banks of the River Foyle, less than ten minutes from Derry city centre, making it an easy base for exploring.

View of a historic stone castle-like tower with battlements, small windows, and a modern glass and wood section on top, situated above an arched stone entrance with a sign that reads 'tower museum.' There is a tree with green leaves on the left side and a cloudy sky in the background.

The Wild Atlantic Way and Causeway Coastal Route are both within reach for day trips, so if you're travelling in, it's worth staying a few days and making the most of the wider region.

A coastal scene with a sandy beach and rocky cliffside, featuring a white lighthouse and buildings atop the cliffs. The ocean is visible to the left, and the sky is partly cloudy.

Planning your trip couldn't be easier. Visit Derry has everything you need for what's on in the City.

Discover NI covers the wider north, and Discover Ireland opens up the whole island.
